Foam Lake Merchants are hosting the 2018 Richardson Pioneer Men’s Fastball League Playoffs this season. Friday sees all 8 teams in action in Foam Lake and Wadena, each playing two games. The first and second rounds of the A-side are to to be played at 5:30 and 7:00 in addition to the first games in the B-side. Winners and losers in each town play each other in the second game.

Tuesday:
Rhein Rockets 10-2 over Foam Lake Merchants locking up second Place behind Wynyard Blues. Dave Renkas and Evan Neibrandt homered and Terry Peppler got the Win

Rosebud Royals then pulled out a scrappy win against the Rockets 8-5 to earn 3rd place in the league. James Holowaty was winning pitcher with Royal Shain Scheschuk hitting the only homer of the game.
